April 24th, 2010 Easter Sunday

Spoke with Geoff this morning Easter Sunday. It had been about 8 days since we had last spoken, i was happy to hear his voice. They have been on "black out" for the past few days, so no communication. Also he is getting a new commander..he came.to visit so thet had to put on a "dog and pony show" making everything look nice. The guys were not too thrilled having to handle all of that. Geoff told me that they are the only ones out of all of 1-6 (which is alot of people) who dont have bee huts and are the only ones who have to burn there own poop. They are having easter dinner feast w ham and corn and s tr ffing and cranberry sauce. Geoff was really looking forward to that. It has been really hot there the past few days and their a.c went out (someone punched it). Now they're also the only tent w.o an ac. Hopefully it will be getting fixed soon. He has plenty of tuna and drink mixes there.."enough to.last through the rest of deployment" His Mid tour leave is stilll set for around sep20th, planning on spending time in Kentucky, Buffalo and New Hampshire and Maine. That is the plan for now at least!

Hi Everyone!! i was happy to talk to Geoff on sunday at midnight :-0! It was a tired monday, but SO worth it!! He looked great and sounded wonderful as well!! He was able to find the time to email me pictures! i enjoy knowing what his world looks like for this next coming year. Mail has continued to reach him still which is awesome!!! His latest requests are:

- magazines (sports, guns, fitness, etc)

- smoked cheeses, sausage and pepperoni (anything that doesnt have to be refrgerator)

I have been loving clinicals, Every day is so much fun, and different. I am still counting down the days until i am finished (june 9th to be exact)

hey lover we just got into germany all of 30mins ago.. long plane flight. its night time here actually 1850. hope ur second day of clinicls is awesome and cant wait to here from you!! i hope u plan on hanging with smillerson and andrea a few of the next upcoming days... when u starting 90x work that boddy out ssexy. Anyways this airport is really weird, the stalls are nuts, like really small, and the key board im on is all fucked up!!! Well im going to get some hot food now ill talk to u again when ever i can.
